Casual Registered or Enrolled Nurse Hobart

We have an urgent requirement for an experienced casual Aged Care EN or RN who is already living locally in the Hobart region able to work on site and ready to commence.

This role cannot accommodate relocation or delayed start dates. You must have 2 years Aged Care experience as either an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse.

The Opportunity

Were seeking Casual Aged Care Nurses to travel across Hobart supporting our clinical teams on the ground with focus on assisting doctors with Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments (CGAs).

This is a casual role ideal for someone who loves autonomy and variety while still making a real difference in aged care.

Working Pattern

We may require you to be available for full weeks at a time depending on location and service needs. Youll get your roster one week in advance.

Travel blocks and scheduling are planned in advance and while well do our best to accommodate your existing roster or other work commitments flexibility is essential.

What Youll Do

Youll work on site at Residential Aged Care Homes (RACHs) during your scheduled shifts supporting residents and staff directly while coordinating telehealth consults. Although youll be using technology to connect with clinicians remotely this is not a work from home role.

What Youll Do

• Coordinate and support Telehealth rounds in RACHs across Central Coast.
• Your focus will be on assisting clinicians with CGAs and reviews via telehealth
• Liaise with GPs Specialists Nurse Practitioners on-site nursing staff to deliver seamless care.
• Manage schedules documentation and follow-ups using smart technology (laptop provided).
• Build strong relationships with RACH staff and residents.
• Support the ongoing growth of the Access Aged Care service model through collaboration and communication

What Youll Bring

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
• Minimum of 2 years experience POST qualification as either Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse - Non Negotiable
• Aged Care experience (leadership or clinical coordination highly regarded)
• Strong IT skills and confidence working with digital systems
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Critical Thinking and strong clinical knowledge
• A current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
• A proactive professional and flexible approach to work
