Job Summary
Were currently looking for passionate Casual Early Childhood Educators to join our team at Sparkways Early Learning Richmond.
Richmond will be the primary location for this casual pool with opportunities to work across a range of rooms and age groups. From time to time casual educators may also be asked to support our nearby Showgrounds and Footscray Early Learning Centres so flexibility to travel between services is highly regarded.

- Casual Educators: Up to $47.67 per hour depending on qualification and experience
- Sparkways Early Learning Richmond Your Primary Location
Our Richmond service provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where children are supported to learn grow and develop through play and meaningful relationships.
- Sparkways Early Learning Showgrounds
Located in the historic Government Pavilion Building within Showgrounds Village Precinct our modern centre offers beautiful indoor and outdoor learning spaces for children from six weeks to school age.

- Sparkways Early Learning Footscray
Located within Billy Button Childrens Centre our well-established community-focused service provides a warm and inclusive environment for children from six weeks to school age.

- Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Experience working in an Early Childhood setting
- Baby Room experience highly regarded
- Sound understanding of the NQF NQS and EYLF
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive professional and proactive approach
- Genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and development
- Willingness to occasionally work at Showgrounds and Footscray ELCs when required is highly regarded
- Flexible casual work primarily based at Richmond ELC
- Opportunities to support Showgrounds and Footscray ELCs when required
- Work with teams committed to best practice and child safety
- Never work out of ratio
