Job Summary
The Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Casual Cleaner to assist with the presentation cleanliness and safety of our College facilities. This hands-on role involves a variety of indoor and outdoor cleaning duties and would suit someone who takes pride in their work can work independently and is committed to maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms offices and amenities vacuuming sweeping and mopping floors sanitising high-touch surfaces rubbish removal maintaining cleaning equipment and completing general indoor and outdoor cleaning duties to ensure a safe clean and welcoming environment.
As a Level 1 Subdivision 1 Education Support Employee under the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022 the casual hourly rate is $37.22 comprising a base rate of $27.92 plus 33.3% casual loading.
About You
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting carrying sweeping mopping and vacuuming.
- Be able to follow directions work efficiently and manage daily cleaning schedules.
- Demonstrate a professional attitude strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Understand and comply with Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and respect for the Catholic ethos and values of the College.
