Career and Workplace Support Specialist

As aCareer &WorkplaceSupport Specialist youll play a vital role in helping people withintellectualdisability maintain sustainable employment by providing tailored post-placement support and partnering with employers to create inclusive thriving workplaces.

Youll work closely with both job seekers and employers to design and deliver solutions that reduce turnover improve retention and support successful long-term employment outcomes.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Fixed term contract until end of 2026
• Provide tailored support to job seekers and employers to ensure sustainable employment outcomes.
• Identify and implement interventions that reduce employment risks and enhance inclusion.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers to promote long-term partnerships.
• Coordinate diversity training and customised employment solutions where needed.
• Monitor progress document support activities and meet key performance milestones.

What Youll Bring:

• Experience supporting people with intellectual disability in employment education or community services.

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Proven ability to deliver customer-centric outcome-focused support.

• Commercial acumen and understanding of workforce planning and diversity initiatives.

• Qualifications or experience in employment services training or community development (highly desirable).
