The Role

The Campaign Manager is responsible for the planning delivery and optimisation of fundraising campaigns that contribute to the growth of sustainable unrestricted income. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external campaign partners the role provides oversight of campaign performance supporter acquisition and reporting to maximise return on investment and strengthen supporter engagement.

The Person

The Campaign Manager is an experienced fundraising professional with demonstrated capability in campaign delivery stakeholder engagement and account management. The role requires strong project management analytical and reporting skills together with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Plan deliver and evaluate integrated fundraising campaigns across digital and other channels
  • Manage campaign budgets timelines and performance to achieve agreed objectives and maximise fundraising outcomes
  • Manage the delivery of key fundraising campaigns including Trade Promotion and Green & Gold (Virtual Seats) identifying risks issues and opportunities and recommending improvements
  • Manage relationships with agencies campaign partners and internal stakeholders to ensure quality delivery alignment and value for investment

Data Reporting & Optimisation

  • Analyse campaign performance and provide regular reporting and insights to support decision making
  • Monitor supporter acquisition retention and campaign return on investment. Continuously test and optimise creative copy and audience targeting based on performance data
  • Maintain and champion CRM data integrity processing standards and reporting frameworks

Compliance & Best Practice

  • Ensure fundraising activities are conducted in accordance with relevant legislation industry codes and contemporary best practice.

Key Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience delivering and optimising multi-channel end to end fundraising campaigns
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience managing agencies suppliers and stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of fundraising CRM and campaign analytics systems and the ability to apply data and insights to support decision making (e.g. Salesforce Raisers Edge) along with and campaign analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics 4 Meta Ads Manager)
  • Experience using fundraising and campaign platforms such as Funraisin Raisely or similar systems.
  • Working knowledge of PFRA codes and Australian fundraising legislation industry codes and contemporary fundraising practices
  • Understanding of digital marketing supporter engagement and campaign automation principles

Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in fundraising business marketing communications or a related discipline are desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising campaign management or digital campaign delivery
  • Professional accreditation membership or active participation in the Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA) or similar professional networks is highly regarded
  • Current Working with Children Check
