Alstoms Dandenong Manufacturing Site is where the future of sustainable transport comes to life.
Located in Melbournes southeast the site designs builds tests and delivers next-generation rail solutions including the Next Generation Trams and XTrapolis 2.0 trains.

Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Well look to you to:
- Support the definition and improvement of logistics methods processes and standards
- Support warehouse layout storage strategy and material flow design
- Contribute to line feeding and material presentation improvements
- Support implementation of visual management on the shopfloor and in warehouse areas
- Assist in identifying inefficiencies and proposing practical improvements
- Support initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs (e.g. packaging transport handling)
- Assist with basic analysis of logistics performance (time flow waste)
- Follow EHS requirements and support safe design of logistics processes
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives such as recycling and returnable packaging

- Qualifications or studies in Logistics Supply Chain Manufacturing Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Interest in warehouse operations manufacturing or logistics improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and other business systems.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
