About the role:

The LPG Business Sales Centre is the first point of contact for more than 30000 existing SME customers and for new customers looking to get set up.

As a Business Sales Consultant based in Melbourne youll take inbound calls covering everything from new site set-ups and pricing questions to service issues and account queries its a role built on service first with sales opportunities that come from genuinely helping the customer in front of you rather than chasing a target list. Youll join a small close-knit inbound team led by a manager with a long history in LPG where experience runs deep and new starters are given real time to learn the ropes.

Most conversations cover pricing supporting customers through the delivery scheduling process and helping them understand their invoice or bill. Youll work closely with the outbound and field sales teams building the kind of rapport that turns a single call into a longer relationship.

This role sits right at the front line of Origins LPG customer experience every call is a chance to keep a business customer with Origin or win a new one over. Youll help the LPG Commercial Sales team work toward its ambition of leading market share nationally while making sure customers genuinely feel looked after.

Its also a great place to build commercial skills: youll spot genuine opportunities to cross-sell across other Origin products and develop the kind of service-led sales instinct thats transferable across the business.

• A strong customer focus you genuinely want to understand what the customer needs and think it through to the right solution not just move to the next call
• Experience in a phone-based sales or service role or equivalent customer-facing experience LPG knowledge isnt required well teach you that
• Commercial curiosity with the judgement to spot genuine opportunities to add value for the customer
• Resilience energy and a positive attitude ready to bring that into an office-based team environment
