Were looking for an experienced Business Analyst - Data to join our Data & Analytics Platform team & help deliver our local data platform this role you will partner with business stakeholders & technical teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions that enable smarter decision-making across the organisation.

• Partner with stakeholders to elicit analyse & document business & data requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional & technical specifications
• Perform data analysis mapping validation & reconciliation activities
• Support data reporting & analytics initiatives from discovery through to UAT & implementation
• Facilitate workshops & drive alignment across business & technology teams
• Deliver actionable insights that improve business outcomes & decision-making
• Champion data quality governance & continuous process improvement
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers Architects Product Owners & business SMEs to deliver successful outcomes

• 5 years experience as a Business Analyst Data Analyst or Data-focused Business Analyst
• Strong experience gathering analysing & documenting business & data requirements
• Advanced SQL skills & experience working with large & complex datasets
• Experience translating business requirements into practical data & technology solutions
• Strong stakeholder management workshop facilitation & communication skills
• Knowledge of data governance master data management data lineage metadata management & data stewardship
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms ideally Microsoft Azure
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes data integration & analytics ecosystems.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across business & technology
• Experience within Banking Financial Services or Insurance will be highly regarded
