In this role youll:



Working as part of a team you will support the development and delivery of Transports budget and forecasting processes ensuring accurate planning reporting and alignment with organisational and government priorities.

This role will see you liaise with internal and external stakeholders to help drive continuous improvement in financial management frameworks governance policies and reporting practices.

You will analyse financial performance forecasts risks and opportunities while contributing to the preparation of budget submissions forward estimates and funding proposals across the Transport Cluster.

About you



You are a finance professional with at least 5 years experience in budgeting forecasting and financial management within a government organisation.

You have a strong understanding of government budget processes including forward estimates and experience analysing and managing financial data to support agency planning and decision making. Experience using Treasury Prime or similar financial systems is highly regarded.

You are a detail focused and analytical thinker with the ability to interpret complex financial information build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver accurate high quality financial outcomes in a fast paced environment.

You hold a degree in Accounting or Finance and are working towards or hold a CA or CPA qualification.
