About the Role
The Brand & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and delivering a wide variety of brand and communications activities that build and enhance Chubbs brand and reputation with brokers clients and staff in Australia & New Zealand.
This is a hands-on role spanning brand management campaign planning content development and social media.
In this role you will:
Brand Management
- Support Brand Management activities within Chubb in A&NZ advising on brand application across products environments and external messaging.
- Develop and edit high-quality content for the Chubb brand across a range of digital and physical environments and including announcements presentations speeches website content thought leadership and social media
- Assist in the day-to-day management of briefs and projects outsourced to Chubbs panel of creative services vendors supporting team and business requests for digital and physical branded assets ensuring alignment with Chubbs brand target audiences and business objectives.
- Provide input into the development and refinement of brand strategies for various audience segments.
- Support delivering brand advice re: product propositions service and employee initiatives design and tone of voice standards media placement sponsorship decisions and partnership/co-branding solutions.
- Assist in the localisation of global and regional brand initiatives for A&NZ markets collaborating with colleagues to ensure local needs are addressed.
- Support the adoption of AI technologies within brand management to enhance efficiency innovation and quality.
- Support the delivery of other brand campaigns or initiatives within the A&NZ team as required.
Internal & External Communications
- Create and edit content and campaigns for internal and external channels including executive communications broker materials website content thought leadership and social media.
- Support the development of executive communications including speeches presentations talking points and thought leadership content for Chubbs executive team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather information and translate complex topics into clear audience-appropriate communications.
- Deliver internal communications initiatives support employee engagement maintain the intranet and provide guidance to stakeholders on effective messaging.
- Support the event delivery of town halls executive presentations conferences webinars broker events media materials and brand campaigns within A&NZ.
- Support coordination of media issues and regional/global approval processes. Assist in maintaining crisis communications protocols templates and response materials.
Social Media and Campaigns
- Develop engaging content for Chubbs corporate social media channels to support brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Manage the review and approval process for corporate social media content to ensure accuracy compliance and brand alignment.
- Track and report on social media performance providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement.
- Support the delivery of best-practice guidance for social media (as guided by Regional and Global teams) for use and deployment in A&NZ.
- Assist in briefing and managing PR content agencies and other agency partners as required.
- Assist the broader Brand Marketing & Communications team on brand and marketing initiatives and campaigns as required.
Operations Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Support the effective operation of the Brand & Corporate Communications functions through the development of communication templates processes and resources.
- Work closely with legal compliance and privacy teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support reporting on communications activity providing insights into performance and impact.
Qualifications
What youll bring to the role
- Experience in brand management creative services (in-house or agency) marketing production and/or account management.
- Experience managing creative and production vendors including oversight of deliverables and budgets.
- Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to develop communications (across image design and copy) tailored to audience objectives and desired outcomes.
- Skilled at communicating brand standards to non-marketing stakeholders including what is and isnt on brand and why.
- Ability to work efficiently in complex and ambiguous environments maintaining a high attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills inspiring others to work within established processes and standards.
- Pragmatic and hands-oncomfortable using tools as required and proactively learning new skills as a self-starter.
- Proven project management skills including planning execution and reporting.
- Ability to champion Chubbs risk culture and advocate for positive customer outcomes.
Desirable:
- Strong understanding of financial services and/or regulated environments.
- Experience working in a B2B corporate environment.
- Versatility across marketing skills (e.g. digital analytics sales enablement events research customer experience social media email internal comms PR).
- Commitment to continuous learning with strong knowledge of other brands best practices and brand communication techniques.
- Confident in constructively challenging and obtaining necessary inputs from others to ensure project success.
