Box Maker Forklift Driver

The Opportunity:

We are seekingamotivated Box Maker / Forklift Driver to join our Lindsay Rural team inBundaberg on a Full-time basis.

This role would suit a mechanically minded person as you will also be maintaining the box machine. No prior experience is required - this is an opportunity to learn and start a career keep our warehouse moving along.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Safe and appropriate operation of the Box Machine to produce cartons.

• Pre-checks manual configuration ongoing maintenance & cleaning of the machine.

• Quality checking of cartons and stack & store in appropriate manner.

• Unloading/loading trucks with the forklift -if valid licence & experience held

• General housekeeping of yard and warehouse

About you:

The candidates we are looking for will have:

• Current and valid Forklift ticket

• Prior experience in a similar environment use of Box Machine highly regarded but not essential

• Mechanical background advantageous

• Good attention to detail with a strong customer service focus.

• Good work ethic reliability and good communication skills

• Able to take direction work under pressure and to ever changing timelines

• Have a commitment to workplace health and safety.

To be successful for this role applicants must:

• Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test

• Be flexible and able to work over weekends as required

• Able to work in and around chemical fertilizer nutrient and packaging
