About the Role

We are seeking reliable and skilled Bobst Machine Operators to join our Opal Specialty Packaging team at Orchard Hills this hands-on role you will be responsible for setting up operating and fine-tuning high-speed Bobst machinery including die-cutters specialty converting equipment to produce premium packaging solutions.

If you have proven experience operating Bobst or similar high-precision packaging equipment strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and an uncompromising safety mindset wed love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up calibrate and operate Bobst folder die-cutters and associated converting equipment for daily production runs.
  • Perform efficient tooling set-ups make precise machine adjustments and execute quick job changeovers to minimise downtime.
  • Inspect output for exact registration fold accuracy crease scores and defect-free finishes.
  • Perform operational troubleshooting carry out basic mechanical adjustments clean machine components and complete routine operator preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean hazard-free workspace follow strict safety standards and accurately log daily production metrics.

Who Were Looking For

  • Direct experience operating Bobst machinery or equivalent high-speed packaging die-cutting machines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform tooling changes fine adjustments and minor fault-finding independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high packaging quality standards.
  • Physical fitness suited to an active manufacturing floor and a proactive team-oriented attitude.
  • Basic computer literacy for logging production data and using machine control panels.
