Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and recommend appropriate solutions.
Performance of diagnostic assessments inclusive of Pure Tone Audiometry Tympanometry and Auditory reflex testing.
Provide exceptional patient care and counselling on hearing health to diverse patient groups inclusive of Adult Rehab and Pediatrics.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcome for patients while maintaining strong rapport with local GPs ENTs and Allied Health Professionals.
Stay updated on the latest developments in Audiology and hearing aid technology.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
Must have Qualified Practitioner status
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Member of an Australian-approved professional body
Relevant experience in adult hearing rehabilitation including conducting of hearing assessments fitting of hearing devices and other ALDs.
Previous experience in diagnostics for adults and paediatric will be highly regarded but not required. The successful candidate will be provided with appropriate training as part of skills development.
