Number of in-office/on-site days: 5 days per week

Annual Salary Range: Exempt Band 2 MIN $80000.00- MED $93800.00- MAX $107600.00

Placement in the salary range is determined by an assessment of knowledge skills experience and ability of the candidate to meet the key requirements of the addition our pay philosophy is to align with the median of the comparable market and to be considerate of internal equity comparisons.

What youll be doing...

Please note: This position is fully onsite and works a Tuesday to Saturday schedule. The role regularly supports multiple Victoria-area transit operating locations and works closely with operational leaders and front-line employees.


Reporting to the Director People and Culture you will provide centralized coordination and administrative support for BC Transits Attendance Management Program within the Victoria Regional Transit System (VRTS). Your primary focus will be supporting Operations People Leaders and People and Culture in the consistent administration of the program and process.

You will monitor attendance information maintain records prepare reports schedule and coordinate attendance management meetings and support leaders in tracking employee participation and outcomes within the program.

A key component of the role will involve identifying trends and patterns in attendance information and translating that information into meaningful reports dashboards and recommendations that support operational decision-making.

Youll also support accommodation processes coordinate documentation assist with incident related documentation and investigations and contribute to the ongoing improvement of attendance programs processes and practices.

The successful candidate will typically have a post-secondary diploma in Business Administration Human Resources Disability Management or a related field along with three years of related experience in a fast-paced administrative environment. Experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset.
