The role

  • Full Time Fixed Term (5 years from appointment)
  • Level D - $167348 to $184243 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • On site: Albury-Wodonga

Join Charles Sturt Universitys Gulbali Institute and lead the development of a nationally recognised molecular diagnostics research program addressing some of Australias most significant agricultural environmental and biosecurity challenges. This is a rare opportunity to establish and grow a cutting-edge capability applying molecular ecology environmental DNA (eDNA) and emerging molecular technologies to deliver practical outcomes for communities industry and government.

Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary research environment youll secure competitive research funding build strategic partnerships and mentor the next generation of researchers. Backed by significant investment in purpose-built molecular laboratories and research infrastructure youll help shape the future of applied molecular diagnostics while strengthening the Universitys reputation as a leader in regional and globally relevant research.
