Your part in the St Andrews team
Working with your skilled and experienced team of Clinical Nurse Managers youll support the Director of Clinical Services with the coordination and development of care delivery services as well as the effective management of St Andrews people resources and strategic planning.
As a senior leader within St Andrews youll be responsible for achieving excellence in customer service through continuous improvement of clinical services and care delivery in line with technological advancements clinical trends and professional standards of nursing practice.
Within this broad role you will lead clinical delivery across our Perioperative Services including Operating Theatres Day Surgery Endoscopy and associated perioperative care areas. Youll work collaboratively with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of safe high-quality patient care while driving operational excellence workforce engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
As an experienced leader youll be a confident and collaborative team player driving clinical performance through a culture of patient-focused care exceptional service and contemporary industry practice. Youll be an advanced communicator with the ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships navigate complex clinical environments and support teams through periods of change.

What makes a difference for us
To be successful in this role you will bring:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Significant leadership experience within Perioperative Services.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary nursing practice clinical governance patient safety and quality improvement.
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes and drive service excellence in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Exceptional communication stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in workforce planning resource management and operational leadership.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care and positive team culture.
