About the Role

Mandurah Baptist College is seeking an experienced collaborative and committed Assistant Dean (Secondary) to join our Secondary Leadership Team.

The Assistant Dean (Secondary) plays a significant leadership role in the effective operation of the College working closely with the Secondary Deans (Students Operations and Teaching & Learning) to support the implementation of the Colleges vision and strategic priorities. Acting as a key link between the Principal Head of Secondary staff students and the wider College community the successful applicant will foster positive relationships promote a culture of excellence and contribute to high standards of teaching learning and pastoral care.

The Assistant Dean (Secondary) is appointed for an initial one-year term. Following a successful performance review the appointment may be extended for a further three-year contract.

As the Assistant Dean (Secondary) is a substantive leadership position within the College applicants are required to submit:

Leadership Statement

  1. Christian Leadership
    Outline the key qualities you believe are essential in a Christian leader and describe the contribution you would make in this role.
  2. Leadership Achievements
    Provide an overview of your key achievements as a Christian educational leader.
  3. Leadership in Practice
    Describe an initiative you have successfully led that demonstrates your leadership choosing one of the following:A pastoral initiative focused on improving student wellbeing;or A curriculum initiative focused on improving student academic outcomes.
