Asset Management Engineer

Were looking for an Asset Management Engineer to join the team - someone who enjoys working with data understanding how assets perform and using insights to support better decisions across the network.

What youll be doing

• Analysing asset performance data to identify trends risks and opportunities across the network
• Supporting lifecycle planning including ageing asset strategies and maintenance decision-making
• Delivering clear practical reporting (including investigations and root cause analysis) to support business decisions
• Working closely with teams across operations engineering and systems to improve data accuracy and reliability
• Contributing to asset plans business cases and investment decisions that support network performance and reliability
• Providing technical insight on asset performance risk and compliance across the gas distribution network

What youll bring

• Engineering background with experience in asset lifecycle planning (ideally within utilities or infrastructure)
• Strong analytical capability youre comfortable working with data and turning it into meaningful insights
• Experience with systems like SAP GIS or Power BI (or similar) and confidence working across multiple platforms
• Solid understanding of asset management principles risk and infrastructure operations
• The ability to build strong working relationships and communicate clearly across the business
