Aestec Services is growing and were looking for an experienced Asbestos / Sheetmetal Supervisor to join our team in Gladstone.

This is a great opportunity for someone who knows how to lead from the front coordinate a team and keep projects moving safely efficiently and productively.

This is a local position and is not suitable for FIFO or DIDO arrangements. Were looking for someone who lives in Gladstone or is genuinely willing to relocate for a long-term opportunity.

Were looking for a confident and experienced supervisor who can lead teams coordinate resources and deliver quality outcomes.

You will have:

• Demonstrated supervisory experience in asbestos sheetmetal construction or maintenance
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate mentor and support your team
• The ability to effectively coordinate labour equipment and materials
• A strong commitment to safety quality and productivity
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• The ability to build positive working relationships with clients employees and stakeholders
• Local Gladstone residency or a genuine willingness to relocate

• Lead and support your team to deliver safe efficient and productive project outcomes
• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is completed to the required standards
• Coordinate labour equipment materials and resources
• Monitor project costs and assist in maintaining budgets
• Develop clear and accurate scopes of work
• Support the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion
• Ensure compliance with WHS policies procedures and relevant legislation
• Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive better project outcomes
• Promote and maintain Aestecs Zero Harm culture

• Relevant Trade Certificate highly desirable or strong demonstrated industry experience
• 35 years experience in a supervisory role within construction maintenance asbestos sheetmetal or a related industry
• Strong understanding of project delivery and workforce coordination
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
• Strong communication organisation and leadership skills
• A genuine commitment to safety and continuous improvement
