This Senior Architecture Delivery Manager role is critical within Telstras Defence account responsible for leading the coordination and delivery of architecture outcomes across a complex multi-domain environment. Youll bring your extensive domain architecture experience ensuring structure visibility and governance to architecture activities; ensuring plans artefacts and stakeholder engagement align to Defence priorities and Telstra contractual commitments. This role sits at the centre of strategy delivery and technical governance.Job Description

This would be an ideal opportunity for an existing Senior Architect with cross-domain knowledge (across Infrastructure) or someone with similar experience alreadyoperatingin the Defence space.

Whatyoulldo
Lead planningcoordinationand reporting of architecture delivery across key initiatives including roadmaps lifecycle management andarchitecture/engineering change activities
Oversee the development and quality of architectural artefacts (e.g. HLDs SADs SEDs) ensuring alignment to governance and contractual standards
Manage engagement with Defence stakeholders including RFIs governance forums and formal approvals
Track and drive progress of architecture deliverables through governance pathways proactively managing risks and dependencies
Provide operational leadership across architecture and governance activities aligning multiple technical domains

Wireless Network
Data Centre
DevSecOps
Unified Communications
ComputerNetwork Defence (CND)
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
Monitor and Control(MNC)
About you
Essential: Active NV1 security clearance (minimum); NV2 highly preferred
Australian citizen (as NV1 clearance is essential)
Ideally Canberra-based butwereopen to any AU location(with ad-hoc travel to Canberra approx. once per month)
Proven experience in architecture delivery consulting or solution architecture in complex enterprise or Defence environments
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across senior technical and business audiences
Solid understanding of governance frameworks architecture lifecycle management and delivery methodologies (e.g. TOGAF ITIL PRINCE2)
Broad technical knowledge across network cloud data centre mobility cyber andDevSecOpsdomains
Experience working across multi-vendor network environments (e.g. Cisco Juniper Aruba) and modern enterprise architectures
