Application Specialist Mining Technology

Hastings Deering are searching for an Application Specialist to support our in region MineStar customers. Through expert level CAT Technology Application Proficiency the role will aim to drive improvements in the Mining operations and optimise efficiencies ultimately fostering heightened customer loyalty.

The role is based out of eitherMackay or Rockhampton with site travel being a requirement. The role is a permanent role working a Monday to Friday.

As an Application Specialist you will:

• Serve as a recognized senior specialist in the mining technology industry to our customers

• Build on your knowledge and be a valued advisor on how to apply the latest mining technologies to improve processes

• Benchmark operational performance to support continuous improvement

• Advance MineStar Application proficiency for our customers through coaching and consultation

• Provide expert technology project delivery support for new MineStar deployments or expansions

• Communicate effectively across all levels of the business facilitating stakeholder engagement through reporting and structured meeting cadences.

About You

A successful teammate will have experience in:

• Tertiary qualified OR trades background

• Minimum of five years experience in a similar role

• Experience in Caterpillar MineStar Products is desirable

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suit is a must
