The Opportunity

The Alumni Relations Manager plays a pivotal role in strengthening Monash Business Schools global alumni network and fostering meaningful connections with graduates industry partners and key stakeholders. Leading the Schools alumni engagement program you will develop and deliver innovative initiatives events communications and networking opportunities that enhance alumni involvement support strategic partnerships and contribute to the Schools reputation and long-term success.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders you will build and maintain strong relationships across Australia and internationally provide strategic advice on alumni engagement and oversee programs that create value for alumni students and the broader business community. This leadership role combines relationship management strategic planning and team leadership to deliver impactful engagement outcomes that align with the Universitys wider alumni strategy.

As the successful candidate you will bring strong leadership and operational management experience with a proven ability to lead high-performing teams manage complex priorities and deliver exceptional customer service outcomes. You will be an accomplished relationship builder with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills capable of engaging influencing and building consensus with a diverse range of stakeholders including senior leaders alumni industry partners and external organisations.

You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data and CRM systems to evaluate engagement activities inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will be complemented by demonstrated experience planning and delivering successful events managing budgets and logistics and creating meaningful engagement opportunities that strengthen stakeholder relationships and organisational outcomes.
