Job Summary
Advisor Security Technology Salary: Service NSW 7/8 ($105986 to $124957 plus superannuation) Do you thrive in a fast-paced security environment where technology problem-solving and operational excellence come together Were seeking an experienced Advisor Security Technology to play a critical role in protecting Service NSWs people assets and facilities. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of a large and complex operational environment leveraging cutting-edge security technology across a statewide network of Service NSW Centres and Hubs. About the role Working closely with internal stakeholders service providers and security partners youll help maintain improve and optimise security technology systems that support the safety and security of Service NSW operations. Essential Requirements Current drivers licence and ability to travel as Cert IV Security Risk Management or Equivalent Industry Experience NSW Security Licence Class 1E and 2C minimum or willing to obtain What youll be doing: Monitor and manage security technology systems across Service NSW locations and hubs Support incident response activities by providing real-time security information and technical expertise Maintain and troubleshoot electronic security systems including CCTV alarms and access control platforms Partner with stakeholders vendors and service providers to ensure system performance and operational readiness Assist with system upgrades improvements and technology enhancement initiatives Contribute to compliance reporting and documentation requirements Support procurement and administrative activities relating to security technology programs Participate in site visits and travel across NSW as What were looking for: Minimum 5 years experience working within security technology security operations or electronic security environments Strong technical knowledge of: CCTV systems Intrusion alarms Access control and security management systems Experience monitoring and responding to security incidents within a control room operations centre or similar environment Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities Experience with procurement processes compliance vendor management and reporting will be highly desirable however these are not essential requirements. Location: Haymarket Full-Time office attendance for the first 3 months to support onboarding and training followed by minimum 3 days per week in office requirements
Employment Duration: Full-Time Ongoing
As the security technology subject matter expert youll oversee and monitor electronic security systems across multiple locations providing real-time support and guidance to ensure incidents are identified managed and resolved effectively.
