About the role

The AEMO People & Culture (P&C) team plays a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing future-ready workforce. We partner with the business to attract develop and retain exceptional talent build critical capabilities and foster an inclusive consumer-focused culture where our people can do their best work and thrive.

What you will be doing

  • Partner with leaders and teams across AEMO to deliver practical trusted HR advice that supports positive business outcomes.
  • Guide employees and leaders through HR policies and processes ensuring compliance while delivering a great employee experience.
  • Collaborate with Senior HR Business Partners to support organisational change initiatives workplace relations matters and remuneration reviews.
  • Manage key employee lifecycle activities including onboarding internal mobility and offboarding helping to create a positive employee experience.
  • Champion best practice governance and compliance by maintaining accurate and reliable people records.
  • Stay ahead of evolving employment legislation and provide data-driven insights that inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

What you will bring to the role

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related fields such as; Business Commerce or Psychology is required
  • Experience using HR technology and Microsoft Office to support efficient people processes.
  • Experience in interpreting and providing policy and Enterprise Agreement advice
  • A collaborative approach and demonstrated success partnering with leaders and stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritisation abilities
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a knack for identifying practical people-focused solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence engage and build trusted relationships at all levels.
