Accounts Receivable Officer

Are you an accounts professional who loves working with numbers as much as building great relationships with customers We are looking for a detail driven Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to join our close-knit collaborative team at TVH.

In this role you wont just track numbers - you will play a vital role in maintaining healthy cash flow while building strong positive customer relationships. Reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor you will handle full-function AR while managing collections with a customer-centric focus.

Responsibilities include:

• Proactively contact customers via phone and email regarding outstanding accounts resolving payment queries and negotiating payment arrangements while maintaining positive client relationships.

• Accurately post match and allocate daily customer payments across bank accounts.

• Maintain up-to-date customer records reconcile ledger balances and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries delivering professional solutions-focused customer service.

• Assist the team with month-end reconciliations ledger reviews and reporting.

About you Skills experience and qualifications:

• Proven track record in an Accounts Receivable role with hands-on credit control and collections experience.

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with an ability to turn difficult conversations into positive customer outcomes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience using modern ERP or accounting software.

• High accuracy in data entry and strong numerical skills.

• Ability to prioritize a daily ledger workload independently while supporting team goals.
