MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT (Ongoing Part-time (0.60FTE))
Westjustice is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to support the effective financial management and reporting functions of the organisation. This role will work closely with the CFO by supporting and maintaining accurate financial records financial reporting budgeting and forecasting.
The role is part-time 0.60FTE with the flexibility to work either 3 full days or across 4 or 5 days at reduced hours.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised finance professional with 3-5 years experience in financial management.

Role Requirements:
accurate and timely financial records in accordance with relevant accounting standards and organizational policies
monthly financial reports management accounts and financial analysis including Board financial reports
rolling forecasts and financial data to inform strategic planning
with the preparation and monitoring of organizational and program budgets budget modelling and regular budget meetings
accounts receivable and payable and prepare revenue recognition workpapers and maintain master funding summary
financial reports acquittals and funding reconciliations in accordance with philanthropic and government funding agreements including Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) reports and annual VLA budget
audits including year-end acquittal workpapers
the office & IT asset register
Skills and experience required:
Hold a bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline (or equivalent)
At least 5 years of experience in financial management;
Proficiency in accounting software like XERO
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders at all levels
Experience in budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Experience with finance systems and advanced excel skills
The role is primarily based at our Sunshine office but will be required to work at other locations as the need arises.
Remuneration:
Salary $118000pa plus employer funded superannuation in accordance withSuperannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992 (Cth) salary packaging and meals and entertainment benefits.
