TheHatch Student Vacation Program provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. We will help you through the transition bridging the gap between your education and career.

As part of theCivil Teamyou will provide civil engineering design expertise to Hatchs commodity-based business units and have the opportunity to work across civil water and geotechnical. Our capability spans through the whole project lifecycle comprising scoping conceptual design pre-feasibility and feasibility studies basic and detailed engineering construction and project management.

You bring to the role:

You will be working towardsBachelor/Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with a strong academic will haveexceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborators with the ability to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems. You will also have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and are committed to creating positive change.

The 12-week program commences onMonday 23 Nov 2026.Please note during this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday 18 December 2026 and will reopen Monday 4 January 2027.
