About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated 1st or 2nd Year Light Vehicle Mechanical Apprentice to join our team.

Working alongside experienced technicians you will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair while completing your apprenticeship qualification.

Key Duties
  • Assist qualified mechanics with vehicle servicing maintenance and repairs
  • Perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision
  • Assist with fault finding and diagnostics
  • Inspect vehicle components and systems
  • Replace parts and carry out routine servicing tasks
  • Maintain workshop tools and equipment
  • Keep the workshop clean organised and safe
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures
  • Complete all training and apprenticeship requirements

Essential Requirements
  • Current drivers licence
  • Currently undertaking or eligible to continue a Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology apprenticeship
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing the apprenticeship
  • Good attendance and reliability
Desirable
  • Previous automotive workshop experience
  • Completion of an automotive pre-apprenticeship
