About this job:
Q-Sourcing Tanzania Limited is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania Uganda Kenya Rwanda and South Sudan.
On behalf of our Tanzania based client we are looking for a competent and experienced Process Operators.
POSITION IN THE COMPANY
Position Label: Process Operator.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Operate and monitor soap processing mixing dosing transfer filling and packaging equipment in line with approved operating procedures and production plans.
- Monitor process parameters through SCADA and other control systems record production data and make permitted adjustments to maintain product quality and output.
- Conduct start-up shutdown changeover cleaning and basic equipment checks; promptly report abnormalities defects or safety risks.
- Support raw-material handling in-process quality checks housekeeping waste control and compliance with hygiene and occupational safety standards.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education
- Diploma in Electrical Mechanical Electronics Chemical or Process Engineering
Work Experience:
- Experience operating a continuous-process manufacturing plant using modern production technology and demonstrate good working knowledge of SCADA systems
ADDED ADVANTAGE
Language Skills:
- Experience in soap detergent chemical food or a similar process industry
