About this job:
Q-Sourcing Tanzania Limited is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania Uganda Kenya Rwanda and South Sudan.
On behalf of our Tanzania based client we are looking for a competent and experienced Electrical and Electronics Technician.
POSITION IN THE COMPANY
Position Label : Electrical and Electronics Technician
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Install inspect troubleshoot repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems on soap production mixing filling packaging and utility equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on motors control panels sensors variable-frequency drives PLC-controlled equipment instrumentation and related plant systems.
- Diagnose breakdowns promptly minimize downtime and maintain accurate maintenance and spare-parts records.
- Apply lockout/tagout procedures and comply with electrical quality hygiene and occupational safety requirements
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education
- Higher National Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Work Experience:
- Four years of relevant experience in a busy manufacturing environment
ADDED ADVANTAGE
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings use diagnostic tools and work effectively with production and maintenance teams.

Leadership Must be a team player. Must be a self-starter and have an appreciation of business growth and priorities. Strong Leadership potential to effectively drive a learning development agenda and operational coordination of activities.. Knowledge. Knowledge of Distributor Management Systems.
