A luxury safari lodge in Northern Tanzania is seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join the team and support the financial management and operational success of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial management and expenditure control

Supplier payments and transaction processing

Payroll support and reconciliations

Monthly management reporting and budget assistance

Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger query resolution

Stock control and month-end stock takes

Internal audits controls and safeguarding company assets

Training and support of lodge staff on financial systems and procedures

Requirements

Degree in Finance Accounting or related qualification

CPA qualification advantageous

34 years relevant accounting experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and ethical standards

Microsoft Excel proficiency essential

PanStrat experience advantageous

Fluent English communication skills
