ملخص الوظيفة

Role Purpose

The HR & Business Development Assistant will support the delivery of HR services. The role is suitable for someone with practical HR knowledge who is also confident in sales client engagement and business development.

The successful candidate will support recruitment and HR consulting assignments while actively generating leads following up with prospects supporting proposal development and helping convert opportunities into paying clients. The role will be approximately 50% HR and recruitment support and 50% business development sales and client relations.

1. Business Development and Sales

Identify potential clients for recruitment training HR advisory payroll outsourcing and related HR services.

Conduct direct outreach through calls emails LinkedIn referrals and networking.

Generate and qualify new business leads and schedule meetings with decision-makers.

Support preparation of proposals quotations presentations and service agreements.

Follow up with prospects consistently and support negotiations through contract closure.

Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and update the CRM regularly.

Identify cross-selling opportunities among existing clients.

Work towards agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

2. Recruitment Support

Receive and review client recruitment requirements.

Prepare vacancy advertisements and job descriptions.

Source screen and shortlist candidates using databases LinkedIn job boards and referrals.

Conduct preliminary candidate interviews and prepare assessment summaries.

Coordinate client interviews references and candidate communication.

Update candidate and recruitment records in the recruitment system.

Support successful placement and onboarding of candidates.

3. HR Consulting Support

Assist with HR advisory and consulting assignments.

Support development and review of HR policies procedures and employee handbooks.

Assist with job descriptions organizational structures performance management and employee-engagement projects.

Participate in HR audits salary benchmarking and organizational assessments.

Conduct research and prepare HR reports presentations and recommendations.

Gradually manage smaller HR advisory assignments independently.

4. Training and Development

Support training needs assessments and preparation of training proposals and materials.

Coordinate trainers venues participants and logistics.

Support participant registration and training administration.

Collect and analyze training evaluations.

Identify follow-on training and consulting opportunities.

Facilitate selected training sessions where appropriate.

5. Client Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Maintain regular communication with assigned corporate accounts.

Follow up after assignments to assess satisfaction and identify additional needs.

Support client retention repeat business referrals and cross-selling.

Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries and concerns.

6. Proposals Tenders and Reporting

Support preparation of expressions of interest proposals and tenders.

Conduct research required for business proposals.

Prepare client presentations and capability statements.

Maintain records of submitted proposals and follow-up dates.

Produce weekly sales and business-development reports.

Track leads meetings proposals conversion rates and revenue.

7. Market Development and Brand Visibility

Research potential clients and emerging HR market opportunities.

Monitor competitors and industry developments.

Identify relevant corporate events conferences and networking opportunities.

Support the companys LinkedIn and professional visibility activities.

Represent the company professionally at selected networking events.

Identify potential strategic partnerships and referral opportunities.



Requirements
Knowledge and Experience

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Management Marketing or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.

Experience in HR recruitment business development sales or client relationship management.

Good understanding of recruitment and basic HR processes.

Experience preparing proposals reports and presentations.

Good computer skills particularly Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with CRM or recruitment systems will be an advantage.

Strong sales and business-development ability.

Confidence approaching new clients.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong follow-up and persistence.

Basic HR and recruitment knowledge.

Proposal-writing and negotiation capability.

Client relationship management.

Ability to work with targets and deadlines.

Required Skills:

Knowledge and Responsibilities Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Management Organisational Psychology Marketing or a related discipline. A masters degree or recognised professional HR qualification will be an added advantage. At least eight years of progressive experience in HR consulting recruitment executive search training business development or professional services. At least three years of experience in a senior management partner director or business leadership role. Demonstrated experience generating revenue and successfully closing corporate consulting contracts. Strong understanding of the Tanzanian business environment labour market and corporate decision-making landscape. Proven experience recruiting managing and motivating high-performing teams. A strong and active network of corporate clients and decision-makers. A proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue and business-development targets. Experience selling recruitment training HR advisory outsourcing payroll or related professional services. Strong commercial judgement and an entrepreneurial mindset. Excellent leadership negotiation communication and presentation skills. Confidence engaging CEOs board members HR directors business owners and institutional leaders. The ability to work independently make decisions and take full ownership of results. High levels of integrity professionalism resilience and accountability. Strong proposal-writing pitching and contract-negotiation skills. The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment. Key Performance Indicators Monthly quarterly and annual revenue achieved. Number and value of new contracts secured. Growth conversion and quality of the business-development pipeline. Number of new corporate clients acquired. Client retention repeat business and referral levels. Profitability of consulting assignments. Recruitment placement success rates and service turnaround times. Training and consulting project performance. Team productivity and achievement of individual targets. Growth of strategic partnerships brand visibility and market positioning. Specific financial and commercial targets will be agreed upon appointment and reviewed periodically. Compensation and Equity Opportunity The remuneration structure will be competitive and strongly performance-oriented. It may include: A negotiated fixed monthly retainer or salary. Performance-based commissions or profit-sharing. Incentives linked to revenue profitability client acquisition and team performance. A potential opportunity to earn or acquire up to 10% equity in CVPeople Tanzania. Equity is not automatic. Up to 10% equity may be considered after the successful candidate consistently achieves agreed revenue profitability leadership and business-growth targets over a period of 24 months. Any equity award will be subject to: Successful completion of the two-year performance period. Achievement of clearly documented targets and milestones. Satisfactory leadership conduct and alignment with company values. Financial and legal due diligence. Approval by the companys shareholders or Board. Execution of formal shareholder vesting and related legal agreements. Compliance with applicable Tanzanian laws and company governance requirements.
