About the Job

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the Buildings team in KSA. The successful candidate will hold a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with at least 7 years of relevant experience in the design development and delivery of electrical systems for building projects. The selected candidate will become part of IDOMs multidisciplinary Buildings team in KSA providing electrical engineering design and technical coordination support across a portfolio of building projects. Initially the role will contribute to the delivery of a major international project while also supporting other ongoing and future projects as required. The position will involve the design calculation and coordination of electrical installations working closely with architectural structural and MEP disciplines within a BIM-oriented environment to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives.

About You

Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the design development and delivery of electrical building services projects within multidisciplinary environments for international and/or complex building projects.
• Advanced knowledge of the design and calculation of low-voltage electrical systems for buildings including lighting and emergency lighting power distribution earthing and lightning protection systems cable containment systems and photovoltaic installations.
• Proficiency in engineering design and calculation tools ranging from dedicated Excel-based calculation spreadsheets to specialized software such as DIALux Caneco BT ETAP PVsyst or equivalent platforms
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and Autodesk Revit within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Experience in international and multidisciplinary building projects will be highly valued
• English level C1 or higher and Proficiency in Arabic are mandatory; additional languages are considered an advantage .
• International mobility flexibility autonomy technical rigor and strong teamwork skills.
