H&S Officer

Were looking for a detail-oriented and professional Health & Safety Officer to join our organization in Riyadh Saudi this role you will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace environment. You will work collaboratively across all departments to promote a strong safety culture and minimize workplace hazards and incidents.

• Develop implement and maintain health and safety policies procedures and programs in compliance with Saudi Arabian labor regulations and international standards
• Conduct regular workplace inspections hazard assessments and risk analyses to identify potential safety concerns and recommend corrective actions
• Investigate workplace incidents accidents and near-misses; document findings and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence
• Organize and deliver safety training programs and induction sessions for new employees and existing staff on relevant safety topics
• Maintain accurate and organized health and safety records documentation and reports required for regulatory compliance and audits
• Collaborate with management and department heads to ensure safety protocols are understood and consistently followed across the organization
• Monitor workplace conditions and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Prepare and present safety performance reports and metrics to senior management
• Stay current with changes in health and safety legislation and regulations applicable to the organization
• Coordinate with external safety auditors and regulatory bodies as needed

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Health & Safety Officer or in a similar health and safety role
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations standards and best practices (OSHA ISO 45001 or equivalent)
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian workplace safety regulations and labor laws
• Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments hazard identification and incident investigations
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in analyzing safety data and preparing comprehensive reports
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and safety management software
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently
• Preferred: First aid and CPR certification
• Preferred: Experience with safety management systems and audits
• Preferred: Background in industrial construction or manufacturing environments
• Preferred: Knowledge of Vision 2030 workplace safety initiatives in Saudi Arabia
