Oracle Hyperion Technical Specialist

Engagement Type: Contract-Based Professional Services

Contract Duration: 4 Months (Commencing 22 Nov 2026 with option to extend based on performance)

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Hyperion Technical Specialist to handle the administration support enhancement and troubleshooting of our Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) environment. The role ensures the stability and effective operation of Hyperion applications supporting budgeting planning forecasting reporting and financial consolidation.

• Hyperion Administration: Design configure maintain and support Oracle Hyperion solutions across Development UAT and Production environments (Hyperion Planning Essbase Calculation Manager FDMEE and Hyperion Financial Reporting - HFR).

• Budgeting & Planning Support: Manage annual budget preparation cycles Planning Units Hierarchy (PUH) budget forms templates workflows and year-end rollover transitions.

• Application Development: Develop and maintain Business Rules Calculation Scripts Allocation Logic Data Validation Rules and composite data entry forms.

• Integration Management: Build and maintain data integrations between Hyperion and ERP systems using FDMEE ODI and EAS for data imports/exports and write-back processes.

• Reporting & Analytics: Design and deploy Hyperion Financial Reports (HFR) and utilize Reporting Studio for dashboards and ad-hoc management reporting.

• Operational Support: Handle day-to-day administration incident resolution root cause analysis and disaster recovery coordination.

• Documentation: Maintain thorough technical configuration documents operational runbooks user guides and training materials.

• Mandatory: Oracle Hyperion Planning Administration Essbase Administration Calculation Manager FDMEE development and HFR.

• Technical Competencies: EPM architecture business rules/calculation script development data integration/ETL processes EAS administration and ODI knowledge.

• Professional Competencies: Strong analytical problem-solving stakeholder management and documentation skills.

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion EPM solutions.

• Proven track record supporting government finance budgeting or large enterprise environments.

• Demonstrated experience managing production Hyperion environments and supporting end-to-end annual budgeting cycles.
