ملخص الوظيفة
- Culinary Excellence: Prepare and cook authentic cold and hot Lebanese mezze kibbeh mixed grills stews and traditional desserts in line with five-star hotel standards.
- Menu Development: Assist the Executive Chef in designing and updating seasonal Levantine menus buffet displays and promotional events.
- Quality & Consistency: Monitor food taste portion control plate presentation and temperature compliance during every service
- Hygiene & Sanitation: Maintain strict adherence to HACCP guidelines Omani municipality food safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness
- Inventory & Cost Control: Supervise stock levels rotate inventory minimize food waste and assist with precise ingredient ordering.
- Team Leadership: Train mentor and schedule junior kitchen staff and commis chefs to build a cohesive high-performing culinary unit.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional kitchen experience focusing strictly on Lebanese/Oriental cuisine with at least 3 years in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
- Education: Culinary arts degree or recognized professional kitchen/hospitality certification.
- Technical Skills: Deep mastery of Levantine flavor profiles authentic spice blends and modern plating techniques.
- Safety Knowledge: Certified or fully knowledgeable in HACCP and international food safety protocols.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is a distinct advantage.
- Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and work flexible shifts weekends and holidays.
Required Skills:
Education: Bachelor on culinary art. Experience: at least 10 Years Expertise in various cooking techniques. Experience in hotels/restaurants often with a culinary degree.
