Responsibilities:

• Strategic Direction and Development of the Nursery school- in co-operation with, the head of the primary.
  
• A clear understanding of the Montessori Curriculum
  
• Ensure all nursery Teaching staff are committed to the school s aims and are motivated.
  
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in the school.
  
• Promote and maintain an environment within the primary &nursery school that secures high standards of planning, organization, teaching, learning, behavior, and achievement.
  
• Monitor and review the deployment of primary school staff such that the learning needs of groups and individual pupils are met.
  
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the primary school, and regularly present coherent and accurate accounts to inform the school evaluation process and its stakeholders.
  
• Ensure systems are in place for the performance management of primary school staff and that their effectiveness is monitored.
  
• Maintain and develop the primary school extended curriculum and extracurricular activities to foster an exciting learning environment.
  
• Work closely with the Head of Primary school to ensure that all expectations, standards, procedures, and systems are built on throughout the school and provide a natural progression for pupils and staff between the two schools.
  
• Ensure that parents and pupils are well informed about the curriculum, attainment, and progress toward their targets.
  
• Idea generation and strategy development.

Requirements

Requirements:

• This position is open preferably to a female candidate.
  
• Minimum academic qualification of Bachelors degree in Education, and other relevant fields.
  
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in Administration and Teaching
  
• Desirable: A Diploma in Montessori education
  
• A desire to work with children.
  
• Advanced Degree/ training/ or evidence of continuous improvement
  
• Excellent communication skills.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, and PowerPoint.
  
• Must be able to work well under pressure.

Remuneration:

• For Nigerian Candidate NGN 600,000 - 700,000 with accommodation and transportation allowance
  
• Foreign Candidate NGN 1.3 - 1.5 million with accommodation and transportation allowance.
