Translation Project Manager

About the Job

Translation Project Management:

• Manage translation projects (numerous files, multi-lingual) from start to finish handing over to the Senior PM for sign off.
• Follow the translation project management process.
• Full assess the translation project and format files ready for translation etc.
• Meet tight deadlines to ensure that the translation is completed and ready for signed by the agreed time schedule.
• Use Translation Memory software as appropriate, updating Translation Memory database at the end of projects.

Translators and Revising / Vendor Management:

• Full responsibility for selecting translators, revisers and reviewers that meet company’s expectations.
• Manage the admin process
• Communicate with translators and revisers
• Support the translators and revisers in their enquiries regarding the translation project and TM software.
• Research any translation queries etc.

Translation Memory and other software:

• Support the Senior Translation Project Manager in growing and developing Translation Memory databases

Quality Process:

• Check each translation project using quality checks after revising stage before hand over for sign off.
