Title: Cisco Identity Engine Service Operations Engineer
Duration: 12 Months
Client: Comptroller of the Currency
Location : Washington DC
Job Description:
- Two (2) years of direct experience applying endpoint access.
- control and network device administration using Cisco Identity Engine Service (ISE).
- Performing system updates
- Documenting operation procedures
- Identifying production errors
- Implementing engineering principles
- Training staff on new procedures and safety standards
- Analyzing results and quality assessments
Required Skills:
- Troubleshooting: When equipment and operations experience challenges, the operations engineer evaluates the root cause of the issue and works to create an effective solution. Being skilled in troubleshooting includes identifying issues and testing solutions.
- Problem-solving: The core responsibility of an operations engineer is problem-solving. An operations engineer designs solutions that address both current and future problems and works to provide solutions that enhance the overall operations of an organization.
- Operations analysis: To oversee effectively and improve the operations of an organization, an operations engineer requires the ability to analyze the flow and duties of each step in the process. Skills in analysis allow you to understand, evaluate and identify areas of importance and areas for improvement that lead to efficient procedures and greater rates of production.
- Mechanical skills: Operations engineers exercise technical skills and may directly work to repair machinery. Possessing the mechanical skills necessary to restore pieces of machinery ensures that they handle machinery safely.
- Reporting: A role as an operations engineer requires skills in written communication and reporting. The ability to describe your suggestions, observations and results accurately is important for ensuring that the rest of your team understands and follows your procedures.
- Research: When you search for a solution or seek to improve the flow of an operation, you may conduct research to find alternative methods and ways to increase efficiency. Knowing how to find relevant information quickly can save you time and effort.

Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, or two years of experience at the lower-level Help Desk Analyst 1 Required Experience maintaining Active Directory accounts (activating, de-activating, creating, and managing AD user groups and security levels VPN remote access configuration & troubleshooting experience MS Office and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting experience Experienced performing basic remote or in person troubleshooting by walking customers through problem-solving processes and probing questions. Experience with Service Desk application for managing IT requests Experience supporting and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, IP Phone, cell phones and various applications
