We are currently seeking a Supervisor to join our Private Client Group which provides Estate Planning Services and Tax Compliance Services.
- Prepare individual trust estate gift and foundation tax returns
- Prepare estate and trust fiduciary accountings
- Provide high level personal financial and estate compliance services
- Review tax information supplied by clients and provide timely high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
- Supervise train mentor and evaluate tax associates
- Perform tax research and respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities
- Stay current on new tax legislation
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in accounting from an accredited college/university required; Masters in Taxation preferred
- 3 years progressive experience in public accounting required
- CPA certification or demonstrated progress towards obtaining CPA certification preferred.
- Experience in individual estate trust and gift tax preparation fiduciary accounting and research software required
- Knowledge of Federal State and Local tax laws
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
- Must be able to work additional hours as needed to meet client deliverables
