Role: Senior Database Developer (Expert Level)

Responsibilities:

- This role would be part of the Systems Development team and will work to follow standard patterns and best

- Analyse needs of downstream systems and end users; develop and support interfaces to fulfil

- Manage the underlying data and database integrity, performance, availability and

- Must be adaptable and able to multi-task with a creative mind and a desire and ability to problem solve while maintaining excellent attention to

- Must be happy working within a small team of technical and business minds yet be able to work alone as

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

- The right candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic who enjoys working in a fast-paced start-up

- Ability to understand and build complex SQL queries to load/extract data: Application (store, update, delete, logic with stored procedures) & Data warehouse for high performance

- Deep understanding of SQL

- Efficient resource optimization analytics, and SQL performance tuning (index, views).

- Experience developing with ETL tools such as SSIS and extracting data from structures like

- Deep understanding of Data Modelling and Semantic layer building for BI, DWH, Reporting and

- Experience of different cloud technologies & services (Preferred - Azure).

- Document and present requirements and

- Understand Database Architecture, design patterns and best

- Understand how to balance database performance and ease of

- Experience developing SQL server database tables, views, procedures, functions

- Experience in extracting data from on premise and cloud-based systems and

- Software development lifecycle and change control while working in an Agile

- Strong analytical skills to understand system needs presented by

- Ability to properly document requirements, database design and

- Good presentation skills to all levels, both technical and

- Desire and drive to learn new skills/software and use them to accomplish

- Need to analyse coding, optimize coding/locking, read, and suggest queries, and have high level

- Exposure to Analytics/Reporting platform (Preferred - Looker).

- Experience in Cloud based Data
