About Us: What are we looking to build

Our partner games are building casual social games for women. Our games have a global appeal and are inspired from classic game mechanics. Our ambition is to build a studio in India that is able to ship world class games. We are backed by highly sought after premium global gaming VCs Makers Fund Play ventures and a clutch of other marquee investors.

Responsibilities: What is the gig about

Our games are built with Unity3D on frontend and Golang Python on the platform side. In this role youll be instrumental in bringing amazing consumer game experiences to life through technology.

1. Design develop and implement game mechanics & features across both frontend (Unity3D) and backend (Golang/Python).
2. Design and develop backend services and internal client SDKs used by multiple games.
3. Integrate SDKs and work with third parties to support UA Ads Payments Analytics etc.
4. Help estimate and plan workcycles.
5. Build systems with scalability maintainability performance and reusability in mind.
6. Ensure the security and reliability of backend systems.
7. Deliver code that meets the highest quality standards and adheres to best practices/
8. Perform regular code reviews follow best practices and share knowledge with teammates.
9. Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams (designers artists game testers) to achieve project goals.
10. Having fun and being awesome overall.

About You: Bonus points for each of these

1. Bachelors degree in Computer science Computer engineering or similar field is preferred.
2. 2 years (ideally 35 years) of experience working with Unity SDKs and backend systems.
3. Proficiency in one or more generalpurpose programming languages (Golang JavaScript C# Java Python etc.).
4. Proven fundamental programming skills (algorithms data structures OOP OS networking cloud platforms).
5. Experience with source control management tools (e.g. Git SVN).
6. Good Communication skills and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (UX game design PM) in an agile environment.
7. Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of game mechanics.
