Senior UI/UX Designer / Frontend

Job Description

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
• Create and revise information architecture documents and diagrams including but not limited to content diagrams, content maps, wire frame diagrams, comprehensive diagrams and static prototypes using sketch, adobe
• Responsible for great user experience on assigned applications and determining the flow patterns in an application, the best places to put features, and how to reduce user friction of the interface to ultimately improve the user experience, with support from the UI Development, Mobile Development, and Project Management teams.
• Create the front end of a highly interactive website using modern UI frameworks
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies•Building apps that respond to the natural human thought process.

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an UI-UX Designer or similar role
• Has a rich UI/UX portfolio.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to discuss and explain design options
• Detail oriented
• Critical thinker
• Problem solver and customer-centered
• Knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Acrobat and Dreamweaver
• 3 years of experience with HTML5 & CSS3
