Senior Network Engineer

Job Requirements

• Senior person with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Minimum CCNP level experience (CCIE desired)
• Hands-on experience working with routers (Cisco, Nokia, Juniper).
• Familiar with VNFs and PON (at minimum, knows what a VNF is and ONU).
• Capable of logging in to a lab unsupervised.
• Experience with Agile software development methods and Atlassian tools (like Jira and Confluence).
• Can read a functional spec, and be able to interpret it for junior staff
• Can create a base configuration and design a hands-on lab exercise
• Ciena experience preferred
• Trainer experience preferred.
• Minimum CCNA level or equivalent.
• Experience configuring services on routers and MPLS.
• Experience with topology diagrams.
• Team-oriented, collaborative and has strong leadership skills.
• Active learner and eager to learn and assimilate new technologies.
• Eager to learn about protocols and detail-oriented person.
