Senior Application Support

Job Description

• Provides 1st level users support and services for internal applications.
• Manages user accessibility and authorization on the business applications level.
• Create user manual and conducts training sessions to newly hired employees on our business applications systems.
• Contact with business applications vendors/providers to have 2nd & 3rd level support for the applications when needed.
• Ensures that database backups for business applications are made to avoid any risk of loss or damage of data.
• Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures. Understand current system deficiencies and necessary updates to be made.
• Document application problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Investigate and resolve application functionality issues and provide support and troubleshooting for multiple applications
• Defines and develops software business requirements, and specifications in collaboration with internal users in the different departments ensuring compatibility and integration with the core business applications.
• Formulates any additional reports that are not provided by current business applications to best fulfill reporting needs.
• Submits relevant reports as requested by management.
• Runs and monitors applications performance tests for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in computer science or related field is preferable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Experience in business application implementation, project management, and database management.
• IT Management Knowledge.
• Experience with SQL languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in software configuration management.
• Experience with ERP systems ‘financial module is a must’ and business applications in a corporate environment.
• Experience in automotive business is highly preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure.
