Business Development Manager
Raleigh, Atlanta, or New Jersey

Grow your career and our clients' revenue as a Business Development Manager with one of my Staffing Agency Clients.

What You Will Be Doing?
Leverage your sales skills by seeking out and developing new business relationships, uncovering client needs in an outside sales consultative approach. As the Business Development Manager, you will uncover and pursue leads and referrals in your target industry, then nurture those leads into trusted business relationships. You will also:
  • Increase sales, by developing strong relationships with key customers, proactively developing new business contacts and understanding customer requirements
  • Identify, qualify, and formulate client needs into resource requirements
  • Sell and negotiate recruiting services agreements with active and target customers
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to identify and allocate the best available talent to fill open requirements
  • Present clients with top resources available to meet their needs, coordinate interviews and feedback, negotiate decisions and offers to fill open requirements
  • Manage and grow your customer base over time

What You’ll Need to be Successful:
  • Minimum 2 – 5 years previous work experience within the roles of, or related fields of, Account Management, Business Development, Inside/Outside Sales, Product Sales, Customer Success, Services Sales, etc.
  • Demonstrated success opening new customer accounts and developing long-term customer relationships
  • Successful track record of engaging new prospects via high-volume outbound prospecting as well as at in-person networking events
  • Ability to deliver our company story in an engaging, articulate fashion, both in-person and virtually to customers
  • Self-motivated and metrics driven with an outgoing personality
  • Superior interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong sense of urgency, grit, resilience, and desire to achieve
  • Excellent planning, time management, organizational skills, creative problem solving, and team player
Preferred Experience:
The successful candidate will have a previous record of success in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales.
