- Receiving surgery referrals from health team or other department members or any other stakeholders
- Coordination with health team members and IRJ staff regarding referrals
- Coordination with MoH, UNHCR, iNGOs and local CBOs
- Assess the surgeries needed if within IRJ standards and limitations
- Visit the patients in their residences and fill-out the medical assessment and needs assessment forms
- Arrange and schedule referral appointments by beneficiary selection, appointment setting and hospital arrangements
- Contact hospitals and focal points to coordinate referral appointments
- Contact patients to inform them of the referral status and arrange their appointments
- Maintain patients’ medical history and track progression and manage cases that require special approvals
- Ensure proper billing by the hospital and invoice correspondence
