Quality Assurance Tester - Alexandria

Caduceus Lane is looking for a Software and QA Tester and who will be responsible for assessing software quality, through manual and automated testing, and finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

QA Engineers should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills, and they should be able to ensure that the company’s products, applications, and systems work correctly and efficiently. Competency in executing test cases and passion about quality are also invaluable assets.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and analyze system specifications.
• Collaborating with others to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Executing test cases (manual or automated) and analyzing results
• Evaluating product code according to specifications
• Creating logs to document testing phases and defects
• Reporting bugs and errors to development teams
• Helping troubleshoot issues
• Conducting post-release/post-implementation testing
• Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Testing current products and identifying deficiencies
• Suggesting solutions to identified product problems
• Investigating product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
• Planning, creating, and managing the overall Quality Planning strategy
• Collaborating with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
• Identifying quality assurance process bottleneck and suggesting actions for improvement
• Overseeing continuous improvement projects
• Collecting quality data
• Identifying key KPIs for product quality
• Preparing and presenting reports and metrics to Senior Management
