Quality Assurance QA Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and process improvement initiatives. This role involves designing and implementing tests debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Development and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases on both new and existing software to ensure product quality. This includes functional regression performance and usability testing.
  
• Defect Management: Identify document and track bugs. Work closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve defects.
  
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance QA testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement quality assurance metrics to measure product quality and ensure standards are consistently met.
  
• Requirements Verification: Review and analyze system specifications to ensure that testing strategies align with business requirements and technical specifications.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with the development and product management teams to understand product vision and specifications. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product reliability and usability.
  
• Tool Management: Utilize various testing tools and software for QA purposes. Stay uptodate with new testing tools and test strategies.
  
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports and metrics to senior management regarding the softwares quality status and the outcomes of testing phases.
