Purchasing Manager

Job Description

• Evaluate pre-qualification packages from subs and vendors, ensuring they meet our quality and safety standards, and owner requirements
• Request, receive, review, analyze, and qualify proposals from subcontractors and vendors
• Develop, negotiate and write contracts, scopes of work, and supply agreements
• Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, including schedules and other key terms
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Managing inventory based on demand and cost targets.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree preferably in Engineering
• Extensive experience working in a construction company in engineering, or consultant at procurement, estimating, project management, construction management ideally for a renewable energy company
• Have to have worked on several build projects
